Smaller companies can now take advantage of EBIS to make more informed decisions. EnterpriseOne Business Information Services (EBIS) is a multi-agency initiative to help enterprises in Singapore become knowledgeable, innovative and information-savvy to compete effectively in the global marketplace. The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) in partnership with National Library Board (NLB), SPRING Singapore and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore will provide enterprises with business resources such as the latest industry updates and research reports, focused industry workshops, and personal guidance from Info-consultants. About S$2.7 million is being invested in EBIS over three years to enhance the provision of information services to some 12,000 local enterprises. Surveys conducted by SBF and NLB in 2005 revealed that SMEs had limited access to business resources as market research service providers failed to meet their demands in a cost-effective and sustainable manner. EBIS allows enterprises to analyse their business information needs and gain access to trusted, useful and affordable management and business information. Acting upon timely and accurate business information and market intelligence will help companies thrive and prosper in a globalised economy, said SBF Chairman Mr Stephen Lee. Local companies can subscribe to EBIS at an annual fee of S$160. All first-time subscribers will receive an early bird discount of S$80 until 1 October 2007. The full suite of services is also available at dedicated EBIS centres. You can learn more from EBIS. |
