Symantec is pleased to announce a new set of Buying Programs that integrate Symantec's legacy security and availability licensing, as well as support and maintenance offerings. As a partner with Symantec, we are confident that the new programs will provide you greater choice and simplicity -- a consistent and flexible way to purchase all Symantec software products and support options.

The buying programs will offer customers the benefits of volume purchase incentives, immediate discount eligibility, and less paperwork.

The new Symantec Agreement Number (SAN) will enable customers to effectively manage each of their Symantec software license and renewal agreements with a single number, and make it easier for them to consolidate buying power. Symantec's buying programs offer a simplified purchasing process to corporate customers, and to customers in the academic and government arenas.




A better way to purchase Symantec security and availability software products and support service options

Symantec Express is designed especially for small to mid-size companies that need an easier way to purchase small license quantities for use within a single country, without time-consuming negotiations. Small and mid-size business customers can use this program to purchase all Symantec security and availability products and support and maintenance options.

The more licenses ordered on a given transaction, the greater the pricing incentives.

Express customers simply purchase the number of required licenses from us and will receive a license certificate from Symantec that contains the terms and conditions. There’s no signed contract or legal review. For important product upgrades and technical assistance, Symantec Essential Support or Basic Maintenance options are available and ordering is just as easy as purchasing products.

Symantec Express is most suitable for :-
  • small to medium sized company
  • minimum purchase requirements for licenses (1-500 units)
  • who prefer not to sign any legal contract
  • wishes to purchase a right-to-deploy license

The easy way for customers to earn greater incentives with increasing investment

The Symantec Rewards offers mid-size and large companies easy access to all Symantec software solutions and support and maintenance options. The Rewards program offers customers volume-purchase incentives, predictable pricing methodology, regardless of volume, and the added bonus of the ease and flexibility of centralized purchasing.

Symantec Rewards uses a point accumulation process to provide customers with greater discount eligibility as purchases of Symantec products and support accrue. A certain number of points are assigned to each Symantec SKU, and as customers purchase incremental products, they accumulate points (on an annual basis). As the points accumulate, customers can move into more advantageous price bands.

Companies with branches or affiliates (especially if they are located in multiple countries) will appreciate the global purchasing power offered by Symantec Rewards. Purchases under the original customer’s SAN, made by any corporate affiliate, in the same country, are qualified to earn points that accumulate and count toward the corporate price band. Affiliates in other countries can create and link SANs with the original customer SAN for even greater points accumulation.

The Symantec Agreement Number (SAN) represents the customer’s relationship with Symantec and serves as a single point of reference into the Buying Programs. It links their licenses and support services across multiple orders. In the Rewards Program the SAN also enables master/affiliate point accumulation, and aggregates the customer’s total investment with Symantec in the way that best meets their needs.
